Admissions Requirements
Applicants must hold an associate degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program as well as an active unencumbered RN license. Accepted students will work with a faculty mentor to develop an educational plan.
Requirements:
A completed admissions application
Possession of an active, unencumbered nursing license
Ability to pursue college-level work as evidenced by official transcript, two letters of recommendation and an application essay
A.A.S. degree or diploma from an accredited nursing program
Cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0
Current physical examination and immunizations from a primary care provider
Current CPR
Since demand for the program will exceed program capacity, the nursing program will give preference in the admission decision to candidates residing within New York state, as well as candidates who demonstrate stronger academic and professional preparation.
